Iggy Azalea’s Ex-Boyfriend Playboy Carti Sued For $100k By High-End New York Jeweler
Iggy Azalea’s ex-Playboy Carti is accused of refusing to pay up for custom diamond jewelry he had a high-end New York jeweler make for him.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, Eliantte & Co. is suing Cash Carti Music and Jordan Terrell Carter aka Playboy Carti.
The company says, Carti reached out to them to create custom-made pieces.
He promised to pay for the jewels after they were manufactured. Eliantte & Co. say they spent a ton of money acquiring the jewels and precious metals used to “construct” the pieces.
“In reliance upon Defendants’ representations, the Jewelry was custom- made to the exact specifications requested by Defendants and manufactured by Eliantte’s staff after many hours of careful labor and construction<” the suit reads.
On September 9, 2020, the company says they delivered a custom made 14 carat white gold diamond rosary chain and 2 custom diamond tennis chains.
The same day the jeweler provided Carti with an invoice for the work. The total amount owed for the custom pieces was $197,063.75. Carti accepted the jewelry and the invoice.

They claim despite him never objecting to the invoice he has refused to pay the full bill. The suit says Carti still has the jewelry in his possession.
Eliantte & Co says on January 25, 2021, Carti made a partial payment of $100k but has refused to pay the remaining balance of $97,063.75. The suit is accusing Iggy’s ex/baby daddy of breach of contract for blowing off the bill.
“It is against equity and good conscience to permit Defendants to fail to pay the Unpaid Balance for goods that were custom made and are now in Defendants’ sole and exclusive possession,” the suit reads.
The legal woes come months after Iggy broke up with the father to her son. She started posting cryptic messages such as, "People take loyalty for granted [and] that’s why I’d rather be alone."
In October 2020, the pop star revealed, “What I meant last night was I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship."
