Faith Evans was out and about with her family only days after being surprised with divorce papers by her husband Stevie J.
The 48-year-old singer was spotted at Disneyland in Orange County with her son Ryder Russaw, who she shares with her ex-husband/music exec, Todd.
Faith looked relaxed while walking around in a colorful tie-dye sweatsuit while her son rocked a fitted black Adidas tracksuit.
The duo looked to be enjoying their day while taking in a couple of rides. They were seen riding the teacups before buying themselves a pair of Mickey ears to rock as they checked out the rest of the park.
The trip is Faith's first public appearance since the world found out her marriage is falling apart. As RadarOnline.com first reported, earlier this week, Stevie J rushed to Los Angeles Superior Court to file divorce papers after 3 years of marriage.
The decision seemed abrupt as the two were flirting on social media just last week. On Stevie's birthday, Faith posted a photo of her husband with a sweet caption asking for him to get home ASAP. The music producer even replied with a cheeky remark.
In the days leading up to the divorce, Stevie J was traveling around the country doing club appearances for his big day.
The couple lasting 3 years is a shock to their closest friends who did not expect them to get hitched. Sources claim Faith surprised her family by getting married to Stevie in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2018.
The relationship seemed to be tight until clues of trouble started to emerge last year. Faith was arrested for domestic violence after a verbal altercation turned physical with Stevie. The cops were called out to their L.A. home where the officers claim to have observed the producer with visible marks on his body.
The police determined Faith was the aggressor in the situation and took her into custody. The case was eventually dropped after Stevie refused to cooperate with prosecutors in the case.
