'RHOBH' Star Erika Jayne's Husband Thomas Girardi Spotted With Black Eye, Looks Worse For Wear Amid Embezzlement Investigation
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne's estranged husband Thomas Girardi was seen for the first time in public since his life started to crumble.
The once-respected lawyer was photographed running errands with an assistant. Girardi has lost a considerable amount of weight since he was last seen. Jayne's ex had a large bruise on his left eye.
The photos show Girardi looking down and out as the woman who was with him helped him keep his balance while walking. Jayne has not been around her husband since she booked it last year.
The Bravo star decided to leave without telling her husband. It was around the same time she filed for divorce from Girardi after 21 years of marriage. The timing of her leaving is interesting given it was right after Girardi started being hit with massive lawsuits.
The reality star-packed up her belongings and moved into her own $1.5 million Hollywood rental, a far cry from her 16,000 sq. ft. mansion she once lived in.
A month after Jayne filed for divorce, where she demanded spousal support, she was hit with a federal lawsuit by Girardi's former clients. In court, the plaintiffs said they were represented by Girardi in a class action suit over a plane crash.

The individuals who brought the case were orphans and widows who lost their loved ones in the crash. Jayne is accused of helping Girardi embezzle millions meant for the families and using it to fund her lavish lifestyle, which included spending $40,000 a month on her glam squad.
Jayne has denied knowing anything about Girardi's legal matters or the alleged embezzlement. However, the trustee put in place in Girardi's bankruptcy believes otherwise. He hired a lawyer named Ronald Richards to investigate the RHOBH star.
Recently, Jayne was hit with a $25 million lawsuit as part of his Chapter 7. The trustee is demanding she return money Girardi's law firm spent on her bills despite him knowing he couldn't pay his creditors.
Jayne has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
