‘Euphoria’ Star Eric Dane & Estranged Wife Rebecca Gayheart Pay Off $550k Tax Debt

Actor Eric Dane and his estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart were accused by the IRS of refusing to pay up on a massive tax debt last year.
According to official records obtained by RadarOnline.com, the 49-year-old Grey’s Anatomy alum and the 50-year-old Jawbreaker actress were slapped with two liens last year.
A first lien was filed by the state of California in February. Dane and Gayheart were accused of failing to pay $165,550 in state taxes.
The second lien was filed in April by the Internal Revenue Service. The government agency demanded the former couple — who are still legally married — to cough up $385,841.
The total amount of the tax debt came to $551,391.
The records show Dane paid off both liens within months. The state lien was released on August 20 and the federal lien was released on October 12.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Dane and Gayheart remain married despite their divorce being filed in 2018.

The actress filed her petition in February 2019 after 14 years of marriage. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
She demanded monthly spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of their 2 daughters. Dane filed his response days later but neither party has made any moves since 2019. The case could be dismissed by the court if they don’t hash out an agreement in the near future.
Dane was the star on the ABC medical drama for nine seasons. He left the show in 2012 to explore other projects. The actor went on to star in The Last Ship for 56 episodes.
In 2017, while working on the show, production had to be halted due to Dane needing time off to deal with his depression.
Dane currently stars as Jacob Elordi’s dad on the hit HBO show Euphoria.
