Dr. Dre’s Ex-Wife Nicole Demands Mogul Be Sanctioned $11k For Playing Games In Court

Dr. Dre’s ex-wife Nicole Young has had enough of his alleged antics in their $1 billion divorce and is asking a judge to slap him with sanctions.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Nicole is firing back at the rapper’s request for the court to sanction her.

She lays into Dre (real name: Andre Young) claiming he continues to violate the court’s order directing him to pay Nicole’s legal fees. In docs, she claims he paid $300k but failed to pay the remaining $1.2 million owed.

Nicole says she only has $1 million in the bank and cannot afford to pay her lawyers by herself. She argues Dre has hundreds of millions in the bank that could be used to help her.

“This court is aware that Andre blatantly violated Judge Powell’s Order for the payment of Nicole’s attorneys’ fees,” the filing reads.

Nicole recently asked the court to put the divorce on pause until Dre paid up. She claims his team rushed to court demanding she be sanctioned.

Dre’s ex accuses him of being petty and using his financial resources to try and starve her out.

“In fact, the delay only helps Andre and harms Nicole every day that goes by and she does not have sufficient funds to litigate on an equal playing field and move the case to trial,” her attorney writes.

“There are huge stakes in this case and Nicole’s professionals cannot be forced to work for free.”

Nicole wants Dre sanctioned to the tune of $11,175 for dragging out the case. As RadarOnline.com first reported, her legal team slapped Dre with a writ of execution last week over the $1.2 million owed.

The writ directs the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department to help in collecting the money owed by Dre.

Nicole claims she signed on before their wedding but Dre tore it up years into the union. He denies the claim saying the prenup was never tore up. However, she revealed in court Dre and his team have been unable to locate the original copy of the alleged agreement.

Nicole has remained quiet publicly as the divorce continues to be fought in court. Both sides have played dirty with Nicole claiming Dre had three mistresses during their marriage and him accusing her of taking money from one of his businesses.
