Diplo’s legal battle in which he accuses his ex-girlfriend of sending sexually explicit photos of him to his family members in an attempt to harass him will move forward.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Diplo hired a process server to track down his ex-Shelly Auguste to serve her with the lawsuit he filed against her earlier this year.
The server was able to locate Auguste and slapped her with the documents at her Hollywood apartment on May 11.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, last month, Diplo sued his former lover accusing the woman of relentlessly harassing him and his family.
He accuses Auguste of being a “relentless and unstable fan who manipulated herself into" his life years ago. The DJ admitted to having a brief consensual sexual relationship with the woman in August 2019. However, he claims things took a turn months later when he rejected her.
He says she has gone on a campaign to ruin his life including creating fake social media profiles to send him sexual messages, In 2020, Diplo says she started sending sexually explicit photos of him to his own family.
Diplo said the situation has gotten pretty scary with his ex-girlfriend showing up at his Los Angeles home unannounced. He said he was forced to sell the property out of fear she would continue to pop up.
To make matters even worse, he says the woman harassed his baby mama with a series of racist text messages. One reportedly called the mother of his children a "ugly dark skin bitch" and instructed her to "Go kill yourself I know I see right through you you're not gorgeous."
The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages for the alleged stalking, trespassing, and revenge porn. Diplo’s powerhouse attorney, Bryan Freedman, said, “my client and his family have been harassed, stalked, and abused by Ms. Auguste for far too long -- and it’s time for the courts to step in and put an end to her appalling and dangerous behavior."
Auguste denies the claims. She accused Diplo of suing her in response to her filing a restraining order against him.
