Denise Richards To Take The Stand In Court As She Fights Off Fraud Accusation From Former Landlords
Denise Richards’ former landlords plan to call the ex-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star to the stand in their upcoming trial.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Anthony Ellrod and Christopher Masterson, who are suing Denise and her husband Aaron Phypers, have submitted their list of witnesses to the court.
The list includes the Wild Things actress and her husband. Anthony and Christopher plan to question Denise for 1 hour total. The trial is set to start in Los Angeles on December 6.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Anthony and Christopher are suing over alleged damages done to their Calabasas rental.
Denise and Aaron rented a home from the plaintiffs for Aaron’s brother to live in for a short period of time before their 2018 wedding.
In the suit, the landlords claimed the home was left trashed and needed serious repairs. They also accused the defendants of breaching the lease by allowing two pot-bellied pigs, three dogs and two ponies onto the property.
The suit read, "During their seven-month tenancy the defendants trashed the house and destroyed the landscaping, resulting in over $100,000 in damage.” They are suing for $103k in damages.

Denise and Aaron deny all allegations of wrongdoing. They claim the home was already in need of repairs before they rented it. “Denise rented this place out for a short period of time for a family member. It was in a state of disrepair to begin with, but now the present owners, who are two lawyers, are having trouble selling it,” a source close to the couple said.
They believed the suit was brought because the owners were struggling to find a buyer for the property.
The actress then countersued the landlords for allegedly leaking her private information in court documents. She is seeking unspecified damages for her pain and suffering.
The legal issues come as Denise is already dealing with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s antics. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the actor recently convinced a judge to ax his child support obligations to Denise after their daughter Sami moved in with him.
Sources claim Sami had been throwing a fit over her mom’s rules. Denise is reportedly upset with her daughter’s decision and frustrated with Charlie not enforcing the same rules.
