'Bachelor' Star Colton Underwood All Smiles With Gus Kenworthy In First Public Outing Since Revealing He's Gay
Colton Underwood was beaming with happiness on Wednesday, marking his first public outing since revealing he is gay on Good Morning America.
Wearing a black t-shirt with the word “Saint” on it, the former Bachelor kept it casual in a backwards hat and sweats in New York City and was caught smiling from ear to ear. Revealing his signature pearly whites just hours after his monumental interview, the ex-Bachelorette contestant looked happy and confident while leaving his hotel as paparazzi snapped away.
Underwood has a lot of reasons to be cheerful besides revealing his sexuality because he was later spotted filming his rumored Netflix show with Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy. According to reports, Colton has been working with a camera crew for the past “few weeks” on the show which will focus on his life as a gay man.
Kenworthy is among the friends in the LGBTQ+ community that has helped him throughout the process and will appear with Underwood on the Netflix show. Getting out of his sweats and into a pair of laid-back jeans, Colton slipped on a lightweight navy jacket and a plain white t-shirt for his camera close-up.
While his outfit changed, his smile didn't. See the pics here!

Earlier in the day, Underwood’s pre-taped GMA interview with Robin Roberts aired in which he opened up about his longtime struggle with his sexuality.
"I've ran from myself for a long time. I've hated myself for a long time ... and I'm gay,” he said for the first time on television. Admitting this is all new for him, Underwood continued, “And I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it. And the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know.”
During the interview, he also disclosed that he had contemplated suicide during his struggle but decided to turn his life around.
Colton Underwood rose to fame in 2018 when he appeared as a contestant on Becca Kufin’s season of The Bachelorette. In 2019, he was named The Bachelor of Season 23. Underwood dated contestant Cassie Randolph for more than a year following the show but their relationship was riddled with drama.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Randolph filed a restraining order against Underwood months after their split claiming he was stalking her. She dropped the order in November.
“I would like to say sorry for how things ended,” Colton said on GMA about their relationship.“I messed up. I made a lot of bad choices.”
