Christina Ricci has just given birth to her second child, a baby girl named Cleopatra Ricci Hampton, the first with her new husband, hairstylist Mark Hampton.
In fact, the proud dad is the one who broke the news to his almost 9,000 Instagram followers.
"My heart has exploded," he gushed Wednesday morning. "@riccigrams and baby Cleo are doing fantastic, we're all resting after such an eventful morning.. welcome to the world baby Cleopatra Ricci Hampton."
He added nine red heart emojis.
On his Instagram Story just a few hours prior, Mark shared a selfie of him in head-to-toe protective hospital gear, signifying that he was in the delivery room. "Dr. Baby time," he captioned the photo.
"What a truly emotional morning, never cried as much," he admitted an hour later, showing a closeup shot of Christina meeting Cleopatra for the first time.
He informed his followers that his wife and new daughter were "doing amazing" following what appeared to be a C-section.
Hampton then shared one last post – a short video showing his newborn baby all cleaned up and fast asleep. "Cleo," he wrote atop the precious clip.
As for the second-time mom, Ricci has understandably not yet shared anything about the birth. However, she was on the social media app just yesterday, anticipating Cleo's arrival.
"Baby's almost here," she captioned a cute video of what looked liked a miniature pony galloping excitedly through the snow.

The actress and hairstylist have been married for only two months! As RadarOnline.com reported, they said "I do" in a secret ceremony in October, only two months after announcing that they were expecting their first child together.
At the time, she gushed that life couldn't get any better, but that doesn't mean it's perfect.
Earlier this year, the actress requested and was granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband, James Heerdegen, accusing him of physically beating her during the quarantine. Ricci even produced photos showing the alleged injuries.
According to her attorneys, when the coronavirus pandemic forced a nationwide lockdown in March of 2020, she "found herself trapped in a house with a violent abuser." Christina said she was worried for both her life and that of their 7-year-old son.
Days before she revealed her second pregnancy, a judge signed off on an order to extend the TRO against her ex.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the protective order will stay in place until January 28, 2022. In the meantime, Heerdegen must complete an anger management program.
The former couple was married for seven years before Ricci filed for divorce.
