Candace Owens went on a nasty rant where she told her followers she doesn’t feel bad for Alec Baldwin and questioned if his daughter Ireland could properly read.
Candace posted a 17-minute video addressing the private conversation she had with Ireland. It all started after the conservative mouthpiece spoke out after the on-set Rust shooting.
Following the tragic on-set incident, Candace tweet, “Alec Baldwin spent 4 years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers. What has happened for Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren’t for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him."
Candace, who recently returned to the US after a trip to London, said the tweet came after she was scrolling through reactions about the incident on Twitter.
She said most of the messages on her timeline said Baldwin was a “nasty” person who deserved this. Candace said people she follows had the perspective that “karma catches up with you.”
Candace said she understood their point of view because Baldwin had “dehumanized” Trump supporters in the past. Candace said she deleted her tweet after being told “murder” was wrong because he didn’t have intent.
She says the media picked up the tweet and misrepresented what she said. Alec’s daughter then made a post and tagged Candace calling her an awful human being.
“You are the most disgusting, hateful cancerous human being I’ve ever come across. Regardless of your foul opinions most of the time, the fact that you would disrespect the life of a woman who was accidentally and tragically killed… shame on you,” Ireland wrote.
Candace said she initially though “You have some nerve was my first perspective as the daughter of Alec Baldwin to call anyone in this world out.” “I have never seen an actor who has been so disgusting who gets paid to do it not just on Saturday Night Live but in his interviews,” she said.
Candace said she asked Ireland if she had lost her mind about the tweet at her given who her father is. “Can you read?” she claims to have asked Alec’s daughter.
She said her tweet was phased it a way that might be difficult if you didn’t pass the eighth grade. She said the tweet was “too advanced” for Ireland to understand. “It is entirely possible to feel bad for the victims of this … and also not feel bad for Alec Baldwin,” she said.
