Britney Spears Appears Distraught At Police Station Just Hours Ahead Of Conservatorship Showdown With Dad Jamie
Britney Spears is set to address the judge in her conservatorship hearing for the first time on Wednesday, but she didn't appear confident or ready just hours prior.
The 39-year-old Princess of Pop looked distraught as she left Ventura County Sheriff's department on Tuesday.
Britney was photographed biting her lip while making her exit with her bodyguard to her parked car.
Wearing a loose-fitting, button-up shirt, sky-high heels, and her signature tiny shorts, the singer looked a bit disheveled during her visit to the sheriff's office.
Slapping her hair on top of her head in a messy bun, Britney hit her curves in a long, gray cardigan, just hours before her highly-anticipated courtroom showdown.
The Grammy-winning pop star will speak with the judge for the first time regarding her 13-year conservatorship.
She is expected to address her dad Jamie Spears' role as her conservator.
On Tuesday, The New York Times published a bombshell report from confidential court records never before seen by the public.

Britney has reportedly been telling the court she wants out of her conservatorship for years, despite her father claiming otherwise, reported the outlet.
In the documents, a court official pointed out how frustrated the star is with her dad's power over her life. “She articulated she feels the conservatorship has become an oppressive and controlling tool against her," the official wrote.
"She is ‘sick of being taken advantage of,'" the report also claimed, adding the singer is frustrated that "she is the one working and earning her money but everyone around her is on her payroll.”
Britney also alleged that her father forced her into a mental health facility in 2019. She reportedly told the court Jamie would pressure her to perform against her will.
Over the past few years, the Lucky singer has become more vocal about wanting Jamie removed from the conservatorship. She has even refused to perform if he continues to take charge of her life.
The #FreeBritney movement has been questioning Jamie's motives from the beginning, claiming she's mooching off his daughter's success.
Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, finally stepped in, telling the court her ex-husband should be cut off while describing his relationship with their daughter as “toxic.”
Britney is gearing up to speak for the first time during a hearing on the matter today.
