Dog The Bounty Hunter is on the prowl for fugitive Brian Laundrie and he's sharing footage as they search a "key area" where he believes the 23-year-old could be hiding.
The professional criminal finder posted the video on Wednesday, revealing he has rescue dogs, boat crews, and ground teams on the job. He's searching for Brian in Fort De Soto, the Florida campground he went to with his mom in the days before Gabby Petito was reported missing.
Dog is seen in the remote location with water gleaming behind him. Wearing his signature black vest without a shirt, the TV personality explained what their search plan is.
"We are out here at the island. This could be a perfect spot for him to hide," he said. "Not too many people out here but there's a lot of environmental things we're going to fight."
"So, here we go. The search now is really on," Dog stated looking into the camera. "The search has just begun."
He revealed more details of his excursion in the caption of the video, telling his followers that it was taken this morning.
"Earlier today we launched an active and specific search in a key area based on the intelligence we are receiving and researching," Dog explained. "Boat crews and ground teams have been called in and we have search and rescue dogs deployed."
Dog joined the search for Brian over the weekend but the Laundries did not welcome him with open arms. Brian's mom, Roberta, called 911 on the Bounty Hunter when he knocked on her door offering his services.
His goal is to find Brian alive.
Brian has been missing since he allegedly went on a solo hike in the Carlton Reserve on September 14, the same day he was reportedly spotted buying a burner phone with an older woman.
His parents did not reveal his disappearance until 3 days later.
On Tuesday, Dog revealed Brian was caught on camera entering Fort De Soto Campground with his parents, days before Gabby Petito was reported missing. While the TV star claims three people can be seen going in, he says only two came out.
Dog has been working tirelessly with law enforcement, scouring locations all over the globe after reported Brian sightings.
His daughter revealed Dog switched gears on the search, launching a team to hunt for Brian on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina.
Gabby's best friend claimed Brian survived in the Appalachians for three months all by himself before, and he's "well-equipped" to do it again.
Gabby's body was found in Wyoming on September 19, 8 days after her parents reported her missing and 18 days after Brian returned home to Florida from their cross-country trip without her.
