Saget had been on a tour across the state that started in September and was set to go through May.
The Sheriff's Department responded to a call around 4 PM EST. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Saget's performance on Saturday was at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and he even tweet about how much he enjoyed the show on Sunday morning.
"Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit. Check http://BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022."
Hours later, he was dead.
Saget is famous for his role as Danny Tanner on the hit ABC sitcom Full House from 1987 to 1995. He reprised his role on the Netflix reboot Fuller House from 2016 to 2020.
His costars on the iconic show included John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Saget was also the host of the ABC clip show America's Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997.
Saget's siblings both passed away — one sister died from a brain aneurysm at the age of 34 and his other sister Gay died at the age of 47 from scleroderma.
Recently, Saget appeared on The Masked Singer in 2020 and a movie called Killing Daniel the same year. He didn't have a ton of future credits listed on his IMDB.
Saget was scheduled to do a series of shows in Hawaii in April and then was set to head over to Boston for one show and Texas for a couple of nights.
Saget survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and 3 children.
