Blake Shelton Fires Back At Ex-BFF Adam Levine Over Gwen Stefani Wedding Invite Snub: 'Get Over It'
Blake Shelton has a stern message for Adam Levine or anyone else with hurt feelings over not being invited to his wedding with Gwen Stefani: "Get over it!"
The 45-year-old country singer doesn't feel bad for leaving his former Voice co-star and TV bestie off the guest list, unleashing his comeback in an interview on SiriusXM’s The Storme Warren Show.
When asked about his July 3rd wedding to the No Doubt singer, Shelton quickly shifted the conversation to the long list of friends who weren't invited.
"So I've had awkward conversations with, with so many of my friends since it's ‘Oh, oh yeah. I read y'all. Yeah, I read about that. How was that?’" he told the show's host Storme Warren.
Blake didn't hold back when revealing his response to those -- like Levine -- who are hurt over the snub.
"You know, I was like, ‘Listen, you know, we kept it small, get over it, you know, it's not of about you," he said, adding, there's a lot of them [friends]."
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the Maroon 5 frontman found out about Blake and Gwen's ceremony like everyone else -- through the media.
“Adam had no idea when Gwen and Blake very going to get married. Adam wasn’t invited to the wedding and was not given the heads up despite the fact that Blake and Adam used to be as close as brothers when they were both on The Voice together,” sources told RadarOnline.com at the time.
But Levine wasn't the only Voice co-star or famous friend missing from the couple's nuptials.

“It wasn’t just Adam that was invited. Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Shakira, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, and new host Ariana Grande were not invited either," another source pointed out.
Our insider even mirrored what Blake told Warren on his show, telling RadarOnline.com, "this was a wedding for close friends and family. Not Hollywood celebrities."
Blake and Gwen kept their ceremony private and small with only about 40 guests.
When it comes to a honeymoon, the couple aren't in a rush to get away.
In fact, they headed right back to Los Angeles and in the public eye.
"We still are probably going to," Blake responded when asked about taking a honeymoon.
"We did have some time after the wedding, just she and I, but you know, we just, we just wanted something calm for a minute and not to run off and then go do something else," he explained.
