Armie Hammer has checked himself into a rehab facility following accusations of rape.
The 34-year-old Social Network star is currently staying in an in-patient facility in Florida, outside of Orlando.
Vanity Fair was first to report the news on Tuesday.
According to the outlet, Hammer checked himself into the facility on May 31 with the help of his estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers.
The actor has allegedly agreed to stay in the facility as long as needed.
Vanity Fair reports Hammer is getting help for a number of things, including sex, drugs, and alcohol.
He allegedly called Chambers last month from the Cayman Islands -- where he had been staying with his new girlfriend -- and told his estranged wife he was leaving to seek treatment in the Sunshine State.
According to the outlet, Chambers was supportive and onboard with his decision.
It appears the two have put their differences aside for his treatment, despite their ongoing personal war.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Hammer and Chambers are currently in a custody battle over their two children -- 6-year-old Harper Grace and 4-year-old Ford.
The actor's estranged wife filed for divorce in July 2020.
In March of this year, Hammer was accused of rape by a 24-year-old woman named Effie.
Moments ago, Effie took to social media and seemingly addressed the news regarding Hammer entering rehab.
"I feel like this is the right time for me to say that I do not believe in redemption. Or forgiveness. But, I do believe in Karma," she wrote after the news broke.
Earlier this year, Effie detailed the alleged violent attack that reportedly occurred in 2017 while sitting next to her powerhouse attorney, Gloria Allred.
“On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles, during which he repeatedly slammed my head against a wall, bruising my face," she recalled.
"He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent. For example, he beat my feet with a crop so they would hurt with every step I took for the next week," Effie added. "During those four hours I tried to get away, but he wouldn’t let me. I thought that he was going to kill me.”
