Andy Cohen Claps Back At Fired Kelly Dodd After She Claims 'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Is Tanking Without Her
Andy Cohen will be damned if he lets Kelly Dodd have the last laugh. Bravo's HBIC just put the fired Real Housewives of Orange County star in her place after she claimed Season 16's ratings are tanking without her.
Dodd has been bitter ever since she was axed from the show earlier this year. She called out producers, claiming she got canned for her unpopular right-wing political views. Now, she took to social media to laugh at RHOC's ratings — which Dodd says are low — but Cohen said not so fast.
"Wait, wasn't I the ratings problem? Wasn’t there a boycott??" Dodd wrote on Monday, posting a rating report of the latest episode. According to Dodd's posting, the December 22 show was watched by 822,000 viewers in real-time.
"We got over a million viewers 14 out of 16 weeks last season despite HUGE competition from election coverage on the news !!! This year? #RHOC16 under a million 3x in 4 weeks!" she continued. Ending her rant asking for it, she tagged Cohen: "Hey @Andy How’s that reboot going???”

In true Cohen fashion, he delivered an answer worthy of a chef's kiss. Replying directly to Dodd, the face of the Housewives franchise hit back by writing, "Good morning! Reboot going great. Feels like a return to form for #RHOC. Look at the delayed numbers, not live. That’s what’s measured.”
Bravo dumped a number of Orange County housewives after season 15. Besides Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and newcomer Elizabeth Lyn Vargas were also fired.
Season 16 came back with returning housewives Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson, as well as newbies Noella Bergener and Dr. Jen Armstrong. The most anticipated personality to make their long-awaited return to the franchise was OG Heather Dubrow.
Despite Dubrow stealing the spotlight from Beador as head orange holder, Bergener is making a name for herself in the new season. RHOC fans are watching her surprising divorce play out in the public eye after her husband reportedly abandoned her, moving to Puerto Rico without her and their autistic son.
