Guests at Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s wedding in South Carolina were in for a surprise when they got to the luxury venue, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal — giant alligators!
The pop star and model, who will say ‘I do’ for the second time on Monday at the Montage Palmetto Bluff, shocked everyone with their choice of location — opting for five star Southern Charm along the idyllic May River.
And while the wedding party knew they would be confronted by Instagrammable scenes at the 20,000-acre resort, they weren’t expecting to see gators climbing up onto the river bank within meters of rental cottages.
A source said: “The wedding venue is stunning, and quite a few of the guests have been out on boats near the bridge where they’ve spotted giant gators.
“They were told not to swim in the lagoon or get too close as they may disturb the animals, some of which crawl up onto the grass surrounding the hotel.
“Guests who partied outside late on Friday were on guard as they didn’t want to come into close contact with them after too many cocktails!”
The source added that there is a dedicated wildlife expert on site and the gators also live in ponds next to the golf courses — where nobody goes searching for missing balls.
Previous guests have caught the gators on camera, with one also writing on TripAdvisor: “We rode bikes, took a cruise on The Grace, ate and drank plenty (all good).
“But I don't love swamps and rivers and didn't want to kayak or paddle board with gators. No thanks!”
RadarOnline.com readers know Baldwin is getting ready for her second wedding to husband Bieber.
The two reconnected after years of friendship in May 2018 and became inseparable. In July of that year, Bieber, 25, popped the question, and announced his engagement to Baldwin in a sweet Instagram post.
Now, the dynamic duo are gearing up to exchange vows for a second time in a lavish ceremony among friends and family.
