Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been arrested for alleged domestic violence against his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Jen Harley, RadarOnline.com can report.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s public information office, officers responded to a “battery in progress” in the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at around 2:40 a.m. on October 4.

Ortiz-Magro and Harley were “involved in some kind of physical altercation,” cops continued. When the officers arrived at the scene, the 33-year-old reality star was “uncooperative.”

“Officers had to use a taser, so a minor use of force occurred,” police confirmed.

As of early Friday morning, Ortiz-Magro had not yet been booked in the Los Angeles County Jail, however, he was arrested for a felony domestic violence charge, cops confirmed.

To make matters worse, Ortiz-Magro and Harley’s one-year-old daughter, Ariana, may have been at the home at the time of the disturbance.

Police claimed that a child was present at the location during the alleged altercation, but luckily was “not harmed.”

The alleged terrifying incident occurred just hours after news broke that Ortiz-Magro and Harley were back on after a series of break-ups.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the couple has a history of domestic violence allegations. In May, Harley was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant that stemmed from a New Year’s Eve incident with Ortiz-Magro. At the time, RadarOnline.com confirmed that Ortiz-Magro filed a domestic battery report against Harley alleging that she threw an ashtray at him.

Harley’s domestic violence charges were ultimately dismissed on July 22.

Ortiz-Magro also has a history of substance abuse. In August, the MTV star was spotted heavily boozing at the VMAs, months after coming clean about going to rehab for alcohol abuse, anxiety and depression.
