One Step Closer! J.Lo And A-Rod Celebrate Their Engagement Among Loved Ones In Los Angeles

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are one step one closer to becoming one.

According to PEOPLE, the lovebirds celebrated on Friday among family and friends in Los Angeles.

No further details have been revealed.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Rodriquez, 44, shocked Lopez back in March with a surprise engagement during their vacation in the Bahamas.

Following their announcement, however, their time to relish in the moment and enjoy congratulatory posts was plagued with cheating allegations against the former baseball player.

Jose Canseco, an old baseball competitor, claimed A-Rod cheated on the 50 year old singer with his ex-wife Jessica-Canseco, charges she quickly deemed "false accusations."

Fitness model Lauren Hunter and British porn star Zoe Gregory claimed A-Rod exchanged sexy text messages and tried to arrange a hookups with them months after he started dating J.Lo and weeks before their engagement, respectively.

Weeks later, when asked about the cheating allegations, the "Dinero" hitmaker responded, “It doesn’t matter. I know what truth is. I know who he is. He knows who I am.”

Still, she reportedly took steps to ensure her man behaved himself when she was on tour.

“Jennifer has a detailed calendar with Alex’s every move mapped out — precisely where he’s got to be and when,” a source told RadarOnline.com at the time.

The source added the performer insisted Rodriguez had a “security team” of “four guys who watch over him 24/7."
