Congratulations may be in order for Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney!
The couple sparked marriage rumors after the A-lister was spotted with her fiancé at New York City’s marriage bureau on Monday, September 16.
A social media user told Page Six the couple looked casual at the courthouse.
“When you go get your marriage license and Jennifer Lawrence walks by to tie the knot before your eyes. Yeah, kids, City Hall is COOL. The place to go!” the person wrote in a since-deleted tweet.
While it's possible the pair got their marriage license, they may not married yet quite yet. In the state of New York, a couple can take out the paperwork together and then they have up to 60 days to actually tie the knot and return the documents.
The famous couple want their “wedding to be simple and sophisticated,” and not an "over-the-top celebration," a source previously told US Weekly.
Fans know the duo dated in the Spring of 2018, only less than a year before they got engaged in February.
The actress was soon after spotted flaunting a massive diamond engagement ring.
Lawrence, 29, told Entertainment Tonight in July that agreeing to his proposal “was a very, very easy decision.”
“Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported exclusively, the couple shacked up for a "trial marriage" before getting engaged.
