Bethenny Frankel quitting Real Housewives of New York before the upcoming 12th season wasn’t too surprising to her close friends, gossip writer A.J. Benza can report in his Fame column exclusively on RadarOnline.com.
Pals of the reality star "knew she was keeping a promise" to her late ex-boyfriend, Dennis Shields, "who always wanted her to reach her full potential in life."
“Dennis always knew Bethenny had a lot more to offer,” a source tells Fame. “He wasn’t putting down the show, but he made Bethenny promise him she would one day explore bigger opportunities.”
As it stands now, Frankel, 48, will focus on developing a new TV show she will star in and executive produce with Mark Burnett.
A source said the show is entrepreneurial-based, where Frankel will offer her expertise to women looking to create, develop and run successful business ventures.
Wendy Williams 'Not Concerned' About Tour Cancellation Fiasco
Wendy Williams doesn’t seem too concerned that her diehard supporters have had to deal with last-minute cancelations for her tour, gossip writer A.J. Benza can report in his Fame column exclusively on RadarOnline.com.
While fans got word that the Aug. 23 performance of Wendy Williams & Friends: For the Record…UMM HMMM! at Cleveland’s Palace Theater was cancelled, the talk show host was spotted happily putting together a tasty meal for two.
Sources tell Fame, Williams — wearing tiny shorts, a hooded pullover and a Yankees cap — was taking her time picking out two 2-lbs. lobsters and two bottles of pricey wine at a specialty store in her TriBeCa neighborhood.
“She was in a good mood, chatting up the guys at the seafood counter,” a source said. “She said she was going to cook a special dinner and wanted everything to be perfect.”
