Todd & Julie Chrisley Surrender To Authorities After Tax Evasion Indictment

Todd Chrisley may have denied any wrongdoing amid his family's financial crime scandal, but the Chrisley Knows Best star and his wife, Julie, turned themselves in one day after their federal indictment, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
A government source told RadarOnline.com the TV patriarch, 50, and his homemaker other half, 46, surrendered to authorities in Georgia’s Northern District Court in Atlanta on the morning of Wednesday, August 14, and will appear in front of a judge at 2:30 pm to face charges for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud conspiracy, wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax evasion.
Among many other allegations by the federal government, Todd and Julie were accused of not filing timely tax returns for four years through 2016, “scheming” to “defraud” banks by submitting fake documents and falsifying credit reports.
“Create them like you always have, if I don’t get these then they won’t renew the loans,” Todd allegedly emailed an unnamed business associate.
Now, the couple and their entire family are facing major backlash for their alleged crimes.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Todd and Julie are attempting to unload their Tennessee mansion for quick cash, and their reality show contracts have not been renewed.
Meanwhile, their kids Savannah, 22, and Chase, 23, have been trolled by fans on social media over their parents’ alleged misdeeds.
“Elites can go f**k themselves,” one commenter said. “We all need to stop looking at their lives like they are something worth learning from.”
Despite the damning indictment, Todd has maintained his family's innocence.
“Not only do we know we've done nothing wrong, but we've got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it," he said on Instagram.
