A toxicology report is underway to determine the exact cause of death for Robert F. Kennedy’s granddaughter, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office in Barnstable, Mass., an autopsy was completed on Friday, Aug. 2, one day after Saoirse Kennedy Hill, 22, was found dead at the family’s Hyannis Port compound.

A press release obtained by RadarOnline.com confirmed that police responded to the family’s mansion at approximately 3 p.m., where Courtney Kennedy’s daughter was found “unresponsive.”

“Our hearts are shattered by the loss of our beloved Saoirse,” the family stated. “Her life was filled with hope, promise and love.”
