Kim Cattrall is not done bashing Sex and the City — or the famous costars who allegedly made her life hell.
In a tell-all interview with The Observer, the actress opened up about her life struggles: her father’s fatal Alzheimer’s battle and her brother’s recent suicide being the most heartbreaking.
“The tragedies in my life continue to shape me. Now I don’t want to be in a situation for even an hour where I’m not enjoying myself,” admitted Cattrall, 62, recalling her years of nasty experiences in Hollywood. “I want to choose who I spend time with personally and professionally. It’s my life.”
Cattrall — who played the spunky Samantha Jones in Sex and the City — has previously spoken of the alleged bullying she endured at the hands of Sarah Jessica Parker and the rest of her costars while filming the hit series, and she’s not about to stop!
“I went past the finish line playing Samantha Jones because I loved Sex and the City. It was a blessing in so many ways but after the second movie I’d had enough,” she said. “I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t just replace me with another actress instead of wasting time bullying. No means no.”
Cattrall previously explained that she turned down the role of Samantha over and over again despite producers wanting to make another movie. Parker, 54, even put her on blast during an interview, for not accepting, saying that every other actor was on board! Still, Cattrall has said she doesn’t want to spend another second with her “hypocrite” former costar.
Producers, now, have asked Cattrall and Parker to stop publicly feuding, as SATC fans continue adoring the series, and both actresses continue to live off of their residual checks!
