Team SJP! Parker's Pals Rally Behind Her In Explosive Kim Cattrall Feud
Sarah Jessica Parker won’t be responding in her feud with Kim Cattrall, but her friend will be!
RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the actress' pals are rallying behind her after her former Sex and the City co-star Cattrall, 61, publicly blasted Parker, 52, on social media over the weekend.
"Expect Sarah to rally the troops and they will fight her battles for her," a source reveals to RadarOnline.com amid the nasty spat.
Andy Cohen was the first to stand up for Parker when he spoke out and defended her during his show Watch What Happens Live. "Andy is Sarah’s attack dog," snitches the pal. "He has a big mouth and his own TV platform to defend his friend."
Now, other stars are following suit.
“Andy Cohen, Kelly Ripa and even Anderson Cooper are all team Sarah and are only happy to support her in public,” says the informant. Even Bethenny Frankel is said to be hopping on the Team SJP bandwagon! The Real Housewives of New York star has been "trying for years to be part of the SJP group," says the insider. "This might be her moment to finally be granted membership."
Meanwhile, SJP is playing it cool and has yet to bite back at Cattrall's controversial comments. "Sarah is super aware of what is said about her in the press and she has a long memory about those who protect her and those who attack her,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “A lot of people have made a lot of money out of Sarah and Sex and the City. Now it's payback time.”
As fans know, the two have been in a years-long feud, with Cattrall claiming how horribly she was reportedly treated by Parker during the filming of Sex and the City.
Cattrall allegedly refused to return for a third film was because Parker treated her “horribly” for six years!
But their bitter battle reached an all-time high when Parker took to social media to express her condolences following Cattrall's brother’s death.
“Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and your and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx,” Parker tweeted to the acid-tongued actress.
Cattrall took SJP's words of kindness as just another hypocritical move on her ex-costar’s part.
“I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker,” Cattrall viciously responded.
“My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family,” Cattrall added. “You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”
