Joe's Nightmare! Attorney General Fights Giudice's Appeal, Demands Deportation

Joe Giudice's sliver of hope for remaining in the United States has been all but squashed.
In Pennsylvania court documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, the U.S. Attorney General shut down The Real Housewives of New Jersey star's deportation appeal — and demanded the felon be deported from the country!
In July, Giudice, 49, submitted his final brief to the Third Circuit Court, outlining reasons he should remain in the United States.
On behalf of the Attorney General, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division Joseph H. Hunt submitted a 40-page rebuttal to the court on August 14.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, an immigration judge ruled in October 2018 that Giudice be deported on the grounds that he committed an aggravated felony — which holds as the highest level crime in the U.S.
Under the “aggravated felony” category, it would warrant an automatic basis for deportation. (Under federal law, an aggravated felony is considered to be any loss to a victim which exceeds $10,000.)
The reality patriarch made the argument that his crimes did not constitute an aggravated felony because Wells Fargo was not a victim, since they allegedly made loans amounting to "consumer fraud."
(The accusations were made as part of a multi-million dollar settlement with the state of New Jersey.)
The brief also noted that more than $400,000 was paid in restitution to the bank as part of his sentencing.
However, the Attorney General agreed with the immigration judge. Now, Hunt is urging the Third Circuit court to shut down the fraudster's efforts to avoid deportation.
"For the foregoing reasons, the Court should deny the petition for review," Hunt wrote in the documents.
Giudice has been fighting tooth in nail to avoid deportation. But this would mark the third blow to his case.
Following the judge's initial immigration ruling, he tried to appeal to the Executive Office of Immigration. The EOIR would later dismiss his appeal.
The Third Circuit Court is expected to decide Giudice's fate in the coming months.
He remains in ICE custody at the Clinton County Correctional facility, which he entered after serving his three-year sentence on fraud charges.
During her husband's legal fight, Teresa Giudice, 47, has been spotted holding hands and partying with her 26-year-old boy toy, Blake Schreck. A source told RadarOnline.com she intends to file divorce papers as soon as Joe is deported.
