The royals are keeping Meghan Markle on a tight leash ahead of baby Archie’s christening. As RadarOnline.com has learned, the family members are warning the diva Duchess to follow the rules and leave her Hollywood drama out of her son’s event.
“After fall-out from Meghan’s disastrous showbiz New York baby shower, Meghan has been warned that the Christening should be a much more serious and less Hollywood type of affair,” a source told Rob Shuter’s podcast, “Straight Shuter: Naughty But Nice.”
“The guest list should focus on close family and friends and stay away from actors, actresses and pop singers,” added the insider.
RadarOnline.com readers know Meghan, 37, jetted off to New York to celebrate her baby shower with her closest celebrity friends and was spotted looking like her old Hollywood self, dressed in all black and walking around the city. Now, the royals are hoping she’ll stay more in line with royal protocol.
“The Queen is the head of the Church of England and the day should be respectful of that. The last thing the Palace wants is pictures of George Clooney, Rihanna, Oprah and Gayle and Serena Williams drinking champagne. This is a church, not a red carpet!” said the source.
