‘I Said Yes!’ Bindi Irwin Engaged 13 Years After Father Steve’s Death

Bindi Irwin is engaged!
The actress, who turned 21 on July 24, will marry childhood sweetheart Chandler Powell, 13 years after father Steve Irwin’s tragic death.
“July 24th 2019 ❤️ On my birthday I said ‘yes’ and ‘forever’ to the love of my life,” she wrote on Instagram this Wednesday, alongside two photos of her with Chandler, 22.
In the snap, the Bindi The Jungle Girl star showed off her beautiful diamond engagement ring, and looked happier than ever with her future husband.
“Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness. I’m so looking forwarding to spending our forever together as your wife. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, purpose and unconditional love. — Now let’s get married already!” Bindi wrote.

Throughout Bindi’s many project since Steve’a death, her now-fiancé, Chandler, has always been by her side. The two regularly share appreciation posts about one another, professing their love and gushing about how much they mean to each other.
Sharing a beautiful photo from their engagement, Chandler wrote: “She said YES! ❤️? Almost 6 years ago we met at Australia Zoo. I immediately fell head over heels for her kind and thoughtful heart that radiates so much light. Proposing in her very favorite place in the zoo, surrounded by animals, seemed like the perfect way to embark on this incredible new chapter in our lives. Bee, I love you more than anything in this world and I always will. Happy Birthday.”
