Just weeks after the divorcing couple reconciled, Gina Kirschenheiter and her husband, Matt, got into a “sudden, violent fight” on June 22, which led to his shocking arrest, a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“It escalated very quickly,” the source explained, adding that a concerned neighbor called the cops.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Matt, 35, was promptly arrested and jailed in Orange County.

"Matthew Kirschenheiter was arrested on June 22 at 2 a.m. and was booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony corporal injury of spouse," Officer Carrie Braun of the Orange County Sheriff's Department told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

He posted bond, and was released around 1 am on June 23. As of June 25, he has not been formally charged with a crime.

On June 24, Gina, 35, filed for an emergency domestic violence restraining order and a related hearing.

The source assured fans that Gina and her three kids are “all safe.”

“Her kids are her number one priority at this point, and she is doing everything that she can to make sure that they are okay.”

The estranged pair got back together earlier this month, with Gina even gushing over Matt over Instagram on his June 11 birthday.

But the reconciliation is over for good, the source said: “It is clearly off.”

A rep for the family declined to comment on the matter.
