Lisa Vanderpump is mourning the sudden death of her beloved mother — just over one year after her brother’s suicide.
Lisa's rep confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Jean Vanderpump died unexpectedly this Monday, June 17, in the family's native England.
"She's absolutely devastated at losing her mother when she is still grieving over the loss of her brother," the rep told RadarOnline.com of Lisa, 58.
The star has temporarily stepped away from her remaining Bravo show, Vanderpump Rules, following the tragedy.
The Daily Mail first reported the sad passing.
The insider told the publication that Jean, 84, was very close to her daughter, though she chose to live her life out of the spotlight.
Jean’s death comes after Lisa’s brother, Mark, died by suicide on May 1, 2018.
The British DJ was struggling with a number of “intense” financial and personal problems at the time, and had previously tried to kill himself on Christmas.
Months after Mark’s death, Lisa confirmed RadarOnline.com's exclusive report that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I started on antidepressants after my brother passed, and grief counseling. After such a depressing year, I worry about the toll it might take. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to step away from Housewives,” she said on the show. “I’ve never self-harmed, but I have had depressing moments.”
She added that she was “tearful most days filming Housewives last season. The whole cast ganged up on me, and I was just weary.”
It has not been revealed when she will return to filming VPR.
R.I.P. Jean Vanderpump.
