Duchess Meghan Markle is still marching to the beat of her own drum.
RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal Markle is planning a post-baby party where she'll be able to celebrate and reunite with her Hollywood friends.
"Meghan really misses hanging with her celeb pals and there's no way she could host this at Buckingham Palace or even her new residence at Frogmore House," a source told RadarOnline.com. "It'll be a star-studded, invitation-only affair at a US hotel with old friends including the Clooneys, Beckhams, Serena Williams and her old Suits buddies."
As for the date of the event, "the plan is to have the party in a few weeks time once she's up and around again," the source exclusively shared.
The post-baby celebration could end up being a point of further contention in the royal family.
"Baby showers and post-birth celebrations are simply not done in the royal family so this will likely set off some fireworks at Buckingham Palace," a source told RadarOnline.com.
Readers know breaking royal rules and traditions is not new to Meghan, 37. Prior to becoming a mother, she was reportedly in planning to have a second baby shower after her lavish one with friends in New York.
She also defied the traditions when she opted out of the hospital photoshoot and decided against a public announcement of her son on the same day of his birth.
The 37-year-old instead released a statement asking for privacy and introduced Baby Archie to the world two days later in a touching video taken inside of Windsor Castle.
Additionally, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported the royal family was so determined to keep Meghan's popularity at bay, they urged and ordered Prince Harry and her away from the media and to Africa for a two to three year role that involves the Commonwealth, charity work and promoting Britain. Meghan, however, is refusing to go!
"Meghan is insisting they stay and is putting her foot down," said the insider.
"She just got into their home and doesn't want to be uprooted," the royals source added.
