Johnny Galecki Expecting First Child With Much-Younger Girlfriend After Whirlwind Romance
Johnny Galecki and his much-younger girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, are expecting their first child together, RadarOnline.com can report.
The 44-year-old actor announced the big news that Meyer, 21, is pregnant on Instagram on Friday, May 4. The news comes just days after he wrapped filming for the final season of The Big Bang Theory.
"We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families," the actor wrote on Instagram. "There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours."
Galecki made his relationship with Meyer, 21, Instagram official back in September 2018.
The two sparked engagement rumors earlier this year when Alaina was spotted wearing an engagement ring. Meyer's half-brother, Evan Bozajian, exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that while the couple had not officially been engaged, Galecki asked Meyer's father for his approval to wed her.
Meyer's brother revealed that the 21-year-old girlfriend's family members approved of her relationship with the actor. However, they did have initial concerns over their 23-year age gap. Bozajian revealed to RadarOnline.com that Meyer is "mature for her age."
"She's never been one of those people that I've known to say she doesn't want kids," the half-brother told RadarOnline.com.
