Radar Told You First! Vicki Announces Engagement To Boyfriend Steve Amid ‘RHOC’ Drama

Vicki Gunvalson is engaged!

This Friday, April 26, the Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed her happy news on Instagram, showing off her husband-to-be and her new ring.

“I said ‘YES,’” she captioned a photo of her smiling with fiancé Steve Chavez Lodge.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the reality star knew she had to give the producers an engagement in order for them to make her a full-time housewife — and alas, she made it happen!

“No matter how much partying Vicki does, without an engagement from Steve on camera she doesn’t have a storyline and she isn’t going to be a full-time housewife,” a source told RadarOnline.com this March.

Knowing this, Gunvalson, 57, began flaunting her romantic date nights with Lodge on social media, and even staged her own proposal!

“Vicki is trying so hard this season,” the insider added. “She’s ‘whooping it up’ as much as she can. She never has an off day and is up for anything that gets thrown her way.”

Gunvalson is so desperate to remain on the show that she promised producers an engagement for Season 14. An insider told RadarOnline.com that luckily for her, Lodge is just as eager to stay in the spotlight, so he agreed. Now, the two are reportedly planning a televised Bravo wedding!

“It’s so sad because no one believes that he even really wants to marry her,” the source told RadarOnline.com, noting that if he did, “he would have done it by now.”
