Paula Abdul's Father Dies From Alzheimer's Disease — One Year After She Lost Her Mother

Paula Abdul is heartbroken over the death of her beloved dad — which came just over one year after her mom passed away, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
Harry Abdul, died after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
He was 85.
Paula's mom Lorraine died in January 2018. She was also 85.
"First, Paula's mom dies and now her dad is gone," a friend said, noting, "It's like an emotional one-two punch" for the 56-year-old former American Idol judge.
Paula tearfully told a pal, "I told my dad once that I'll be 'forever his girl' — just like my song! And I meant it."
UPDATE- After RadarOnline.com broke the tragic news, Paula confirmed her father's death on Twitter.
"He had a heart of gold," she gushed along with a sweet video of the two together.
