RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that in Conrad’s absence, the formerly troubled actress built the show around her persona and she’s already receiving rave reviews.
“She’s looking great while portraying a heightened version of herself and has a ton of input over the storylines," a source told Radar. “Doing this series has been a massive risk for her because people take so much of these reality shows at face value, but she's having a great time and is already making a solid living off of it.”
The source continued, “Even though Barton is the new face here, it’s quickly become her show, and everybody working on it has a spring in their step over what she has brought to the table!”
Barton’s stellar performance and help on set has also led to predictions that the reboot will last quite a while on television.
“There's no reason there can't be five more seasons of this,” a source shared exclusively with Radar. “Bosses are loving what they’re seeing so far.”
This praise may be just what Barton needs to keep her spirits up.
After word spread she joined the cast of the MTV show, Radar exclusively reported her friends’ concerns with her mental health.
