Over Already! Michelle Williams Splits With Husband After Less Than One Year

Michelle Williams and her indie rocker husband Phil Elverum have already called it quits on their marriage after just months together.
Sources told People Williams, 38, and Elverum, 40, who got married last summer in a secret ceremony, haven’t been together for some time now.
“Michelle and Phil separated at the beginning of the year,” a source told the publication. “It was an amicable split and they remain friends.”

The actress sparked suspicion she and her musician spouse were on the outs when she was recently spotted not wearing her wedding band on several occasions.
Williams first revealed her romance with Elverum last July when she opened up to Vanity Fair about her small wedding ceremony in the Adirondacks.
Matilda, her 12-year-old daughter with the late actor Heath Ledger , and Elverum’s 3-year-old daughter with his first wife, who died of cancer, were both in attendance.
