Fans are slamming Kim Kardashian after she revealed in next month's Vogue magazine that she is studying to become a lawyer, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Kim, who made her first individual appearance on the May cover of the high-end fashion magazine, spoke in depth about how her past work with prison reform motivated her to try to pass the bar.
"The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency and I'm sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, oh, sh*t. I need to know more," Kim, 38, explained. "I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case."
"It's never one person who gets things done; it's always a collective of people, and I've always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more."
Kim said she isn't going to law school, but is obtaining her degree through an apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm, which is allowed in the state of California. The reality star said she plans to take the bar exam in 2022.

But social media followers slammed the reality star, who has never enrolled in any type of higher education.
"Why make a mockery of the hard work, diligence, respectability and INTELLIGENCE it takes to be a lawyer? You can have ambition, but not too much. Please stay in your lane," one person seethed on Twitter.
"An attorney with no college or law degree?" another questioned.
One fan joked: "Kim Kardashian wants to study law to become a lawyer? Well. Why not. Could be a great Netflix show."
Kim's late father, Robert Kardashian, was infamously O.J. Simpson's defense lawyer in his murder trial.
