Fans have been worried sick about Britney Spears ever since she cancelled her tour and entered a wellness facility, and now, they've become even more concerned, seeing as her mom, Lynne Spears, has begun "liking" bizarre fan comments.

“Give Britney back her freedom, her voice her life! Love you guys #freebritney” read one of the comments.

RadarOnline.com reported this week that Britney, 37, is anxious to leave the rehab facility, but her doctors are suggesting she stay.

“She is insisting she is better now, and wants to come home,” said a source. “She is certain she’s ready to handle the remainder of her treatment plan at her home.”

The Britney's Grams podcast has made outrageous claims that Britney is being held in mental health treatment against her will.

Crazed fans who heard of the bizarre incident quickly created hashtag #FreeBritney to bring awareness to the situation.

Over the past 24 hours, the hashtag has gone viral, with hundreds of worried fans chatting about it on social media and commenting all over Lynne’s Instagram!

Lynne — who split from Jamie in 2002 — began “liking" some of the responses, sending Twitter and Instagram users into a frenzy.

Lynne, 63, has not publicly addressed the #FreeBritney claims, but recently posted an Instagram quote reading “When God’s warriors go down on their knees, the battle is not over; it has just begun.”
