Pregnant Meghan Markle has lost another staffer! Diva rumors have followed Prince Harry's wife for months and now, the news has gotten worse with a third aide quitting on the Duchess. The Daily Mail's Richard Eden has reported that Amy Pickerill, who was appointed as Meghan’s assistant private secretary just last year, will bail on her job after Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor this month. Meghan is due to give birth to their first child this spring.

"Amy is leaving," a royal source told the Mail. "It’s very sad for her colleagues, as she is a really popular member of staff."

Royal watchers are in shock as Amy was handpicked to work for Meghan and was chosen to succeed Samantha Cohen, who is stepping down as the Duchess’s private secretary after 17 years with the royal family.

Amy will reportedly be leaving the family completely to move overseas. The aide helped Meghan with various projects, including the cookbook the Duchess published to help families affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

Amy was also responsible for the former Suits star's diary, as well as preparing her briefs ahead of every ahead of every royal engagement.

A friend of Amy insisted to the Mail she enjoys a good relationship with Meghan, adding, "She has agreed to stay on to help them with the birth of the baby and organize their new household, but will then move on."

However, Amy is the third woman to have worked for the Duchess to have quit within months, raising royal alarm bells. Meghan's personal assistant Melissa Touabti resigned just six months into the job. Melissa is believed to have quit suddenly, shortly after Markle married Prince Harry in May, Eden had reported in the Mail.

A source told The Mirror that Melissa quit because of Markle's attitude—that actually made her cry!

"Her job was highly pressurized and in the end it became too much. She put up with quite a lot. Meghan put a lot of demands on her and it ended up with her in tears," an insider claimed to the British publication about Melissa.

The personal assistant is believed to have limited the PR damage after Markle's father Thomas was caught in a photo faking scandal before the royal wedding. In December 2018, it was revealed that long time staff member Samantha would be leaving Kensington Palace.

Samantha, who is originally from Australia, said she would leave the royal household once the new baby had arrived.

There's been huge chatter that Meghan has become a diva after marrying Harry.

In royal biographer Robert Jobson‘s book Charles at 70: Thoughts, Hopes and Dreams, he claimed that before the wedding, Prince Harry raised his voice and yelled, “What Meghan wants, she gets!”

Also, Royal correspondent Richard Palmer has written, "It is clear that Meghan is regarded as difficult and demanding by some in the family and on the staff.” Now the fact that Meghan's losing Amy -- who had previously been a senior communications officer for Prince William and Kate Middleton – is sure to cause more gossip about Harry's wife's alleged troublesome ways.
