Luke Perry’s son has broken his silence with a touching tribute to his dad following his recent passing.

Jack, Luke’s 21-year old son, took to Instagram to express his love and gratitude for his father.

“He was a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, he was always Dad,” Jack wrote.

Jack thanked the legendary actor for his support in everything and for inspiring him to be the best. He also acknowledged that his “heart is broken."

“I’ll miss you every day that I walk this earth. I’ll do whatever I can to carry on your legacy and make you proud,” he wrote. “I love you Dad.”

Jack’s message comes one day after his sister Sophie, 18, dedicated an Instagram post to the Riverdale star.

“I’m not really sure what to say or do in this situation, it’s something you aren’t ever given a lesson on how to handle, especially when it’s all happening in the public eye,” Sophie wrote. “So bare with me and know that I am grateful for all the love. Just, being grateful quietly.”

Readers know that Luke, 52, passed away in front of his loved ones on March 4th, just five days after he suffered from a severe stroke.

He was in a self induced coma, but his “vital signs were good.” He was expected to make it before his health started to decline.

A rep for Luke, however, said he was not in a coma, but was instead “sedated.”

His family hoped the doctors would “pull him out of it after 48 hours or so,” but “he never recovered,” later suffering from a second severe stroke, which is what really killed him.

Luke left his fortune to Jack and Sophie, RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed.
