Luke Perry was cremated, despite the information on his death certificate he was taken to a funeral home to be buried, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
"He would have never wanted to be buried," a source close to the late Beverly Hills, 90210 star said.
Initially, Perry's plans were to have his ashes spread in the ocean, but according to recent reports the actor's remains were scattered over his farm in Vanleer, TN.
The informant told RadarOnline.com exclusively Perry's reasoning behind being cremated was because "he was a very spiritual person who was also very environmentally conscious, so he would have never wanted a burial."
"And his family would absolutely adhere to his wishes," said the source.
Readers know medical personnel rushed to Perry’s Sherman Oaks home after he suffered a stroke on February 28. In the chilling 911 call a female caller begged officials to “hurry up.” He was then taken to a nearby hospital, where he died one week later.
Perry left behind two children he shared with his ex Minnie Sharp. At the time of his passing, he was engaged to actress Wendy Madison Bauer. The two had plans to tie the knot on Aug. 17, 2019, RadarOnline.com confirmed.
