Dad Duty: Jamie Spears Takes Over Full Control Of Britney's Conservatorship

Jamie Spears is now in complete control of his daughter Britney’s life.
RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned Jamie is now sole conservator of the superstar singer’s vast estate, after Andrew Wallet, the former co-conservator, retired.
For his part, Wallet, who was in charge of the financial and business sides to Britney’s conservatorship for more than 10 years, walks away pocketing $100 thousand, plus his normal January payment of approximately $35k.
Wallet filed his notice of resignation Monday, March 4, stating in court documents “The conservatorship is engaged in numerous ongoing business activities requiring immediate attention and it therefore is in the best interest of the conservatee that the acceptance of Wallet’s resignation and the issuance of amended letters of conservatorship of the estate occur immediately and without delay.”
The news comes as a bit of a surprise, especially since just last November, Wallet was granted a substantial raise, after successfully arguing that, because he essentially saved the singer and her Trust from financial ruin, he should be paid $426 thousand.
But with Jamie already handling much of Britney’s affairs anyway, Wallet apparently decided the timing was right to step aside, and hand off the business.
The news comes on the heels of reports dad Jamie will be undergoing a second surgery next week to hopefully repair a ruptured colon.
