Controversial Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof was found dead in bed at the Love Ranch in October 2018. Now, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on his cause of death — and the drugs found in his system.
In an autopsy report obtained from Clark County Coroner in Nevada, Hof’s cause of death is acute myocardial infarction, which is a heart attack. The heart attack was caused by “atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease.”
Diabetes and obesity are other significant conditions that were listed.
“This 72-year-old man was celebrating his birthday with friends on the night of October 15, 2018,” the report read. “He returned to a local brothel (which he owned) with friends at approximately 2300 hours and went into a bedroom with a female employee.”
She left the room at 5 a.m. and went into her room. When he did not emerge from the room or respond to text messages, the woman asked male friends to check on him.
He was discovered “lying supine on the bed and unresponsive.” When medical services arrived, he was “beyond resuscitation.”
Delta-9 THC, which is the active ingredient of marijuana, and Viagra were found in his system.
Arsenic, selenium and lead were also found, but the report says the levels are non-toxic and consistent with environmental exposure.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, porn star Ron Jeremy said he was with Hof the night before he passed away.
While he insisted Hof never did drugs, he said the brothel owner “had the best night of his life.”
“He did a rally, and he was going to run for the Senate, some kind of legislation Senate seat,” he told RadarOnline.com. “He had some pretty good people last night supporting him. And he said it was his greatest night ever. Isn’t that crazy?”
Jeremy added that Hof had also been hooking up with a girl the night before.
“He gave her a good time, he might have been like a Nelson Rockefeller. Remember he died in the saddle?” Jeremy said.
Love Ranch is the brothel where Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband Lamar Odom overdosed and nearly died in 2015.
