Andy Cohen’s Real Housewives thought they had thrown him the baby shower of the century, but RadarOnline.com has learned the Bravo host is jealous that Meghan Markle’s shower just a few weeks later stole his thunder!
“Andy and the Real Housewives have been bragging for weeks that there will never be a more epic baby shower than the one thrown for Cohen’s baby boy, Ben. And then Meghan Markle arrived in New York with Amal Clooney and Serena Williams,” sources told STRAIGHT SHUTER’s Rob Shuter.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Cohen, 50, hosted a massive shower at the Palm restaurant in Beverly Hillson Saturday, January 26, 2019. Stars from all the Real Housewives shows dropped by, including Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, NeNe Leakes, Camille Grammer, Ramona Singer, Teresa Giudice, Lisa Rinna, and Kyle Richards.
Guests enjoyed a lavish spread of delectable oven roasted tomato bruschetta on crostini phyllo cups with crab cake, jicama slaw and old bay aioli, jumbo shrimp, lollipop lamb chops, lobster cobb salad, Chinese chicken salad, salmon with mango salsa and sliced espresso rubbed grass-fed filet mignon.
All Cohen could do afterwards was gush about what a success the party was, and how it could never be topped.
And then came the Duchess of Sussex, who was treated to a lavish shower of her own in Serena Williams' room at The Mark Hotel in New York. Suddenly all the attention switched to the visiting royal.
“The Bravo bunch are actually jealous,” Shuter’s source said. “For some reason, having the best party is such a big deal for them. And now all anyone is talking about is The Duchess’ $80,000 baby shower and they are livid.”
