Shut Out! Wendy Williams’ Staff Planning Show ‘Like She Doesn’t Exist’ Amid Absence
Feb. 14 2019, Updated 6:37 p.m. ET
Several weeks after she first disappeared from her namesake show, Wendy Williams no longer has any contact with her staff, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
And now, producers “are moving forward like she doesn’t exist,” sources told RadarOnline.com, and even shutting out her manager husband, Kevin Hunter.
“At first, they were keeping her and Kevin in the loop, getting their approval on replacement hosts and guests,” the source continued. “Now, they are not even CC-ing them!”
'She is 100% not involved."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the daytime talk show host’s employees hope she never returns after multiple delays.
“It has been like a vacation having guest hosts. Everyone is laughing and smiling and working together,” an insider told RadarOnline.com on February 11. “We all had gotten so used to walking on eggshells around Wendy and Kevin, we forgot what a fun work environment was.”
RadarOnline.com first caught Williams, 54, looking frail at a CVS in southern Florida with a friend on January 29. It was the first time the once ever-present diva had been spotted since December, when her bizarre on-camera behavior puzzled fans and friends.
Friends and business associates “have been concerned about her in recent weeks,” an insider claimed on December 18. “She can barely stand at times, and has totally checked out. It’s a major problem.”

Williams said she needed an extended break to recover from a shoulder fracture. She did not give a return date.
