Tamar Braxton was the first star to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, and the last to leave! This week, the singer took home the victory and shared her joy with fans when her win was announced.
Apart from taking home the prize, Braxton, 41, made history this Wednesday, February 13, by becoming the first-ever black housemate to win the grand prize. RadarOnline.com readers know the beauty was competing with Dina Lohan, Ricky Williams, Lolo Jones, and Kandi Burruss for the reality crown.
She also broke the “First to Enter” curse and took home $250,000, leaving runner-up Williams with $50,000.
Fans know the scores were pretty much tied until the last few episodes. Ultimately, it was Braxton’s moving speech what led viewers to throw votes her way.
“I am a huge fan of this show. I played the game to the best of my ability,” she said on the show. “I lost my job publicly in front of everybody. I lost my husband. . . And I almost lost my life.”
