'Fu**ed Up & Wrong!' Phoebe Bridgers Speaks Out After Accusing Ryan Adams Of Abuse

Phoebe Bridgers is speaking out about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of shamed singer Ryan Adams.
"It's been a weird week and I wanted to say a couple things," she wrote on Instagram this Saturday, February 16. "Thank you from my whole fu***ng heart to my friends, my bands, my mom. They all supported and validated me."
RadarOnline.com readers know Bridgers, 24, is one of the seven women, including Mandy Moore, who recently came forward with allegations of harassment and emotional abuse against Adams. An exposé blasting him was published in a New York Times article Wednesday, and Adam's legal team has since denied the claims.
"They told me what had happened was fu**ed up and wrong, and that I was right to feel weird about it. I couldn't have done this without them," she continued alongside a photo of her next to boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.
"Ryan had a network too. Friends, bands, people he worked with. None of them held him accountable. They told him, by what they said or by what they didn't, that what he was doing was okay. They validated him. He couldn't have done this without them," she wrote.
One of the "Come Pick Me Up" singer's alleged victims said she was just a teen when the two engaged in "sexual conversations" online She added that while she was initially captivated by his glitz and glam, he quickly grew manipulative and obsessive. Adams, 44, disputed her claim.
Similarly, Bridgers said she was enthralled by Adams when she first met him when she was 20, but their whirlwind romance spiraled out of control in a matter of days. Once, she claimed he called her up to his hotel room only to greet her completely nude. He denied her allegations, saying that what they had was a "brief, consensual fling."
"Guys, if your friend is acting fu**ed up, call them out," Bridgers wrote. "If they're actually your friend, they'll listen. That's the way this all gets better."
Seeing her post, fans and loves ones showed their support.
"Spot on. Heart you, friend," Moore commented.
