Ozzy Osbourne has been admitted to the hospital with complications from the flu following other health problems he's suffered the past several months.
The rocker's The Talk co-host wife Sharon tweeted fans on Wednesday afternoon, February 6, 2019, "As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love."
The Blast reported that sources said Ozzy, 70, checked into Keck Hospital of USC on Monday, February 4.
Sharon and their son Jack reportedly rushed to be by the Black Sabbath star's side and brought security guards to the hospital.
Shortly after arriving, The Blast's insiders said, Sharon left and returned a short time later with a suitcase and a blanket, looking like she would have to stay with him for some time.
Sharon didn't appear on Tuesday’s episode of The Talk.
Ozzy recently postponed the European leg of his tour with Judas Priest due to the flu, saying in a statement he was "completely devastated" not being able to perform.
The veteran rock star, who had to cancel shows and underwent hand surgery after an infection in fall 2018, also noted last week, "It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s—. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis.”
He continued, "I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy."
Sharon, 66, showed her love and devotion by being with her husband during his illness--even though he has cheated on her.
In 2017, the TV hostess shocked followers by admitting Ozzy was unfaithful to her with six women.
The couple who made their family famous on reality TV's The Osbournes have been married since 1982.
