A never-before-seen childhood photo of Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has surfaced!

On Thursday, January 31, Katharine McPhee posted a photo of her and Markle getting ready to perform in a musical when they were younger.

“Meghan and I did musicals together as kids,” she captioned the photo on social media. “She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex and I grew up to star on the West End, so same life if you ask me.” She then added the hashtag #TBT.

Markle, 37, and McPhee, 34, grew up together in Los Angeles. Now, years later, they both find themselves across the pond – though in admittedly different roles.

McPhee will reprise her role as Jenna for the UK premiere of the hit musical “Waitress” next month. The former Smash star previously played the role on Broadway last year. This will mark her debut on London’s famed West End.

She is also busy planning her wedding to Foster, 68, who popped the question last year during a European vacation.

Markle is a bit busy herself, expecting her first child with Prince Harry while also fulfilling her duties as Duchess.

The two have clearly come a long way from the days of sharing a smile backstage.
