RadarOnline.com can exclusively report the troubled actress and her high school sweetheart-turned-fiancé have rekindled their romance after a holiday breakup.
“They’re back together,” said an insider.
But while the lovebirds may be happy, their reconciliation is driving a wedge between Locklear, 57, and her family.
“They believe he’s contributed to her issues with not maintaining sobriety,” a source told Radar. “They think he’s the problem.”
As Radar previously reported, the stars broke up during the holiday season — around the same time Locklear was sent to rehab over a scary mental breakdown.
Following a “never-ending” Christmas Eve fight, Heisser moved out of her Westlake Village, California home, and the two decided to part ways.
Fans know the wild love birds have a sorted history of heated and violent arguments — some of which have led to arrests and DUIs.
Cops went to Locklear’s L.A. area home last November 18 following what sources called another argument with her beau. She was eventually placed on a 5250 hold, and went to a rehab facility — only to get out within weeks for Christmas and the New Year. She hasn’t returned to treatment since.
The Melrose Place star was already facing charges for battery on a police officer and resisting arrest after cops tried to break up a dispute between her and Heisser in February 2018.
Plus, last June, she was taken to the hospital for threatening suicide after another fight with him.
Two years ago, Locklear infamously wrecked her Porsche — and broke her collarbone — after visiting Heisser when they got into yet another ugly argument.
Even after their numerous explosive episodes, however, a source told Radar that Locklear and Heisser are working on their relationship.
“He was basically living with Heather, and when he moved out, he had no place else to go,” revealed the insider. “So she let him crash at her other pad.”
“Now they’re talking and meeting again like a couple.”
